We all know that education is the most important tool for success of an individual. With the present day escalated fee structures for all courses, equal opportunity is not given to the meritorious students from the weaker section of society. Newspapers update us with opportunities being lost for such students. In India, we have lot of family problems that confront the children of this section of society, like drunken father, lack of jobs, too many children, quarrel with wife, wife beating etc, which inturn will ruin the children’s future. Cases of suicide is on the increase!!
When we look at the literacy of our country, the disparity between literacy in rural and urban areas is also stark, with slum areas falling in between. Apart from the greater degree of poverty in rural areas, issues of the rural-urban divide include the lack of schools in remote areas - according to the Ministry of Education about 17% of habitations lack access to a school within one kilometre; the apparent tendency of teachers to opt for cushy urban posts instead of rural ones, leading to understaffing; parents’ perceptions of the poor quality of teaching and poor condition of rural schools; and lack of awareness of the importance of education.
While literacy overall has risen steadily, it should be noted that it is substantially below that of other comparable countries, such as China, whose literacy rate is 88%. Furthermore, some areas within India have achieved far higher literacy rates than the national average, most noticeably the state of Kerala (93%), and these achievements cannot be attributed solely to economic disparities between regions.
Though we know we can not help all those who need help to get educated, we can still put effort to help atleast a few .
We at MANASA CONSULTANTS render our services to students to guide them to achieve their goals. Firstly, we source out financial assistance to needy students to persue studies. Further, we provide Aptitude testing services for the 10th stds, I PUC, II PUC students, which will help us to scientifically assess the student and guide them to the appropriate courses suited for them. Students who graduate are also at cross roads and we help them to choose their PG programmes in India and abroad. We organize work shops to guide students as to what they can do after graduation from any stream.

We want every child to be educated. Those who are blessed will have financial support and may study. Only financial support will not help, Interest to study, Guidance as to what to study, Setting the primary and secondary goal of what course one wants to do, Getting the Aptitude tests done, are all important for their careers.
There are many Intelligent students among the underprevilaged too. They lack financial assistance, no condusive atmosphere at home, none to guide them. with these thoughts haunting my mind, decided to start a trust that would help underprevilaged children get educated. Thus MANASA TRUST was formed and registered in August 2007.
Since then, by word of mouth ,applications are pouring in. To help all, corpus funds in large amounts is needed. We are trying our best with donars of similar mind donating annually. Leading News Papers have given a right up on the trust.
